Wife with Childhood Home

I took a road trip with my wife, Tara, and her parents to Cherokee, IA because she wanted to show me one of the places she lived when she was a little girl.

We went to a farmhouse where they lived and had many fond memories. I was taken by the images of the setting, the farm house and the surrounding farm country so I was inspired to paint this idyllic scene of Tara in front of the farmhouse.
