We should never forget

Vietnam was a war that was before my time. My father served in Vietnam and, fortunately for me, he survived. He never spoke much about the war and all that he saw.

Many men did not survive the war. And so many more lived, but had their lives destroyed by it.

This photo was taken at the traveling Vietnam Wall that visited Sioux Falls years ago. I took my young family to see it, so that they might someday recall the importance of this memorial.
