Silvia

For this exhibit, I selected a piece I named Silvia, a feminine name of Latin origin meaning woods, or forest.

In mythology, Silvia was considered a goddess of the forest and I can imagine her flitting around the forest, keeping her one, very sharp eye on all the other woodland creatures.

I hope she can spark your imagination with the wonder of her beauty and the spirit of the woods that is her home.
