Lou the Levitating Gnome
Andrew and I did this painting together and he made the frame. We will be entering it So, Andrew likes to tell a tall tale and he also enjoys hooking me into stories that aren’t true or are mostly fictional with a few real facts thrown in. After 20 years of marriage, he can still real me in- hook, line and sinker!
One early spring morning a couple of years ago, I decided to leave him a little surprise in his truck! This surprise came in the form of a stuffed gnome with a battery operated light-up hat! You see, Andrew was driving an old beater of a truck and I thought it was time he had a mascot for good luck! That truck was always breaking down and costing us money. I kissed him goodbye one morning as he left for work and watched through the window as he walked out to the truck. He took one look in the truck and panicked! The guy could not get back into the house fast enough!
You see, he thought someone had left a bomb in the front seat of his truck. When we both came to our senses, I told him he had a guilty conscience for all the tall tales and practical jokes he’s dished out over the years!
