Breakfast with Dali
I worked in Tucson, Arizona, flipping houses for a time and I recalled just how hot it got there in the summer. One time, a man was photographed actually cooking an egg on the sidewalk. That picture was the inspiration for this painting. I combined my love for surrealism and desire to give a nod to Salvador Dali, whose art reminds me of my time in the desert around Tucson, AZ.
